Timothy & Gloria’s wedding
SINGAPORE · THROUGH WILSON’S LENS
Calvary Baptist Church & Carlton Hotel
8 August 2026
Photography & recollections by Wilson Foo

In Wilson Foo’s photographs of Timothy and Gloria’s wedding, the ceremony sits alongside family life: children playing, relatives catching up and a granddad cradling his grandchild.
01 / BEFORE THE CEREMONY
A grin beside the fan
Wilson described Timothy and Gloria as “a very chill couple”. Before the ceremony, Timothy was already grinning and throwing peace signs. The photograph beside the fan catches that same ease.

Gloria arrived with her bouquet. Children ran around, relatives caught up, and a toy Mercedes was parked in a corner. Wilson remembers having time to slow down and look around.

02 / IN THE SEATS
The people who filled the room
Wilson’s favourite moments included a granddad cradling his grandchild, with someone nearby taking a photograph on a phone. Two elderly ladies stood with their arms around each other. Between the rows, a dad crouched to play with his son.

“None of those are on a typical shot list, but they show the family and friends who make up Timothy & Gloria's world.”

03 / AT CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH
Gloria walks in
Timothy waited at the front with a toddler beside him. Gloria came down the aisle with her dad. Wilson photographed their entrance and the meeting of hands, keeping the faces around them in view.

WILSON’S VIEW
“I stayed back a lot and let things happen instead of directing.”

04 / TOGETHER
Rings, smiles and applause
The closer frames follow the ring exchange and the couple together at the front of the church. In the aisle, a kiss brings the applauding guests into the photograph too.

05 / THE CELEBRATION
On to Carlton Hotel
At Carlton Hotel, Timothy and Gloria entered hand in hand, now in blue and red. The photographs move from their arrival to a laugh at the table, then a toast with family and friends.

“Together they show a couple who are easygoing, surrounded by family across generations, and not taking themselves too seriously.”
